    <sob> 80 degrees! <weep>

    With windchill this morning it was -56F here in Winnipeg. That is a difference of 136 degrees!! <wah!>

    Tomorrow the Des Moines area is supposed to get a high, yes HIGH of MINUS 17F. With windchills around 30-40 below!

    Glad you pointed that out Tim !

    It is unreasonably cold for here. I'm tired of it already, and winter is a long way from over. The inside temperature of my shop will not likely get over about 40F today.

    And for the temperature measurement impaired, that -17F is -27C, without the "wind chill index".

    I talked to a buddy in Florida yesterday. It was not a good idea.

    Another record cold day in Manitoba. Right now it's -36C (-32.8F) with a -52C (-61.6F) windchill. Ouch!!

    It's -5º here in Chicago with windchill factor below -20º (Fahrenheit of course). That translates to -20º C with windchill at -30º.

    It's absolutely beautiful right now here in Phoenix Arizona. This is the best time of the year for us right now. I'll talk to all you cold folks in about 6 months though, and I'll be the jealous one as we enjoy our 118 degree summers.
