Looking very smart and even more so once you have corrected the siting of the flashes.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Looks good. One question though, regarding the photo taken outside. It looks like you have a card of some sort on the instep of the right shoe. Is it really a card or just a reflection in the lens?

I should like to add my congratulations on your forthcoming marriage also.

Regarding the kilt pin: each of my kilts has its own pin and once placed and pinned correctly, it is not removed unless the kilt is being cleaned. Constant pinning and unpinning will soon damage the fabric since it is almost impossible to site the pin in precisely the same position time after time. Neither the pin nor the kilt will take any harm if the pin is left in situ during storage.

    Take care,
    Ham.

A bit overwhelmed with all the responses here but I'd like to thank everyone for the well wishes and compliments! Also for the the tips regarding kilt pins and flashes! I want to do it right for sure and appreciate this resource to make sure I do.

To the astute reader who saw the tag on my shoe, yes, that is indeed a tag. I had literally JUST taken them out of the box and put them on. I was wearing them inside walking on the carpet until I was certain they fit (per USAkilts recommendation) and then neglected to remove the tag before heading outside for some impromptu photos. My parents (who payed for the outfit along with my wonderful friends) snapped the photos while my beautiful bride to be hid out in the bedroom (she's not going to see me in it until the wedding day, much like me with her dress).

I know lots of people here already know (and make it known) but nothing but compliments for Rocky and USAkilts. Great service from order to delivery, and and outstanding product!

    Congrats on the upcoming nuptials.

You might (since your wedding might be considered a formal event) think about ditching the white hose for tartan hose or at least colored hose. Especially since you're wearing a PC.

Other than that, after you fix your flashes, you're looking quite smart, that's a great looking tartan.
