You stated that it's coated with Teflon, so I gather it's a PV kilt?

No, Marton Mills and House of Edgar both coat their Jura and Nevis (respectively) with teflon to resist staining.

I have handled Strome, Jura and Nevis and the teflon has no serious effect on the feel of the fabric.

If I were to get a kilt in a tartan other than my state, clan, or profession, it would be a Black Stewart. That's one of the coolest tartans ever. I want a box pleated Black Stewart. I'd love to get it from SHO. One of these days when I have money again...
