I tried hard not to but the ABF tie is a natural match for my Lindsay Double Box (Cheers Chrystel)

Aww cummon, I had a tattersall shirt on (although you can't tell in the slightly over exposed pictures), and Navy Hose (No dark blue in the Lindsay)... You don't understand what internal conflict and personal strife I had to struggle though for an ex Army Bloke to put Navy socks on!! but the flashes go so well too and and ...

    Verdict?? FAIL!! Too Matchy...

Still think it looks good though, despite the slightly squonk spozz.

By the way. If anyone likes the RBL poppy lapel pin (I have several and wear them all year round) you can get them here at The Poppy Shop for three quid each. Buy a few and save on postage, probably.

Smelling salts, STAT!!! Will wonders ever cease? Matching! MATCHING! I might need my utility gloves for this since it is considered a no-no on here!

Thank you so much mate! You look incredible, even more incredibiler than normal believe it or not! See, matching is a good thing especially for nice and special occassions. I simply love the squonk spozz!

    Yours aye,
"Smart turnout", or, direct from The Army Benevolent Fund. I think I am correct to say that the Smart turnout one is made from silk and hence more expensive than the one from the ABF. Whichever one you choose, the ABF is a superbly worthwhile charity and the money(a proportion from ST) does go to the charity from tie sales, from either source.

    Yours aye,
Further to Jock Scot's comment, here is the link to the silk version:

For those on a budget, the less expensive polyester one is available here at the Forces Store.

And if you fancy setting it off with a "poppy" lapel pin, you can get those from The Royal British Legion Poppy Shop
