I didn't see the drink?! And kindly trust the professional here, I haven't seen anything this bad in my last 12 years of firefighting/EMS response. But I do live in a rural, Southern county. And we regularly get "Lfiting Assistance" calls from the EMS crews. Could be why I recognized the power assisted gurney!
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

For most of us who used to be problem drinkers, this doesn't seem all that strange. 
In fact, I bet that there are members on this site right now who are telling their partners "I swear dear, if it ever gets so bad that I wake up on a gurney wearing fishnet stockings surrounded by Oompa Loompas and Easter Bunnies with my *** on backwards, I am gonna quit for good".....and then it happens!!

MacMillans Son makes a good point. I thought I had some crazy nights "back when," but I guess I was pretty tame.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Ok, I read the descriptions in all the posts...
Dude, I used to live in Sin City next to Arizona State U, that happened all the time, especially the oompaloompas and bunny rabbits.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
