I see Strathclyde Police took it this year, Shotts and Dykehead second , and FMM third in Grd 1. One of these years I am going to get over there for this and the worlds! Any of you "locals" going to the worlds?

Seen the buildings on top of Dumbarton Rock do people live up there ?What are those buildings looks old.
The rock and castle, including the governor's house, are now a visitor attraction. I'd imagine the only person to live up there nowadays might be the caretaker! More information on Dumbarton Rock here:-

MacGregor Pipe Band???
Did yall happen to see a MacGregor Pipe Band at the competition? I know they've done quite well and moved up grades quite rapidly for such a young band... I think they're a grade 2 now, but not certain.
Just curious,

There was a band called Killeen playing in Grade 2 in McGregor tartan. With between 150 and 200 bands taking part, and performances taking part in four arenas simultaneously it just wasn't possible to hear and photograph them all.
