    Welcome

And welcome from another MacLaren, by ancestry...........and my dad went through Woodbadge also, ( but didn't know of the ancestral ties until later.) My folks are in Raliegh now, have to find a kilt night, next time we're up that way, and again welcome!

    Thanks to all,

I think a kilt night in Central NC would be great. I changed my original plans to make a traditional kilt after scanning "The Art of Kiltmaking". Instead I pulled out some fabric that I bought with a "tartan" with a 3-inch sett and started making an X-kilt. The size of the sett was off a little for Alan's dimensions on the pleat, but seems to work out so far. I will post pics to the DIY forum later.
