Ill let you brave fellas handle the snipe. I will stick to spectating. I have family in St. Louie so I am seriously considering going. Sounds like a blast.

If you do, stop by the Clan Cumming Society tent and say "g'day".

Not that that will stop me but a kilt night with my fellow scots will be most enjoyable.
There are no rules or regulations for a spectator; you will need to buy tickets, but the main thing is to go, enjoy the sights and take it all in.
No worries about wearing a kilt at a kilt night. We have around 15-20 kilted gents in the Scottish society, so folks are used to us know when we go out in public.

Hi! Welcome to the rabble.
Next weekend (September 22-23) is the Scottish Festival in McPherson, KS, just north of Wichita. I'll be there wearing my USAK American Heritage, and driving my 1952 MG-TD on Saturday. As part of the festival, British cars have a special display area. Mine is usually the oldest car shown. Lots of good food, clan tents, Scottish games, bagpipes and dancing. Hope to see you there.

from the Scottish Borders.
My surname is Cunningham. My paternal line of Cunninghams can be traced back to 18th century Paisley weavers. Paisley is in the heart of Cunningham country, being only about ten miles from Auchenharvie, Craigends, Kilmaurs, and Robertland, all of which were Cunningham strongholds before the union with England, but I have been unable to trace my ancestry back far enough to ascertain from which branch of the family I am descended.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.
