I resolve to make no more resolutions. 2010 is a year of "Positive Changes" for me. I plan to loose 2 pounds a week for one. But if a week pops up and I don't oh well there is always next week.

I have a bad habit of helping some one who needs it, and refusing to let them know who I am. Do that more.
Make more money!
Go to Scotland.

None - I'm already on a diet !
Start taking an interest in clothes again when I lose some more weight. Design suits (eg 3 button front, narrow lapels, sloping pocket flaps including ticket pocket, operating cuff buttons, 16 inch trouser bottoms) and choose materials for a local Indian tailor here to make for me. Design some hand-made shirts with pin or tab collars. Get 1" or 1 1/2" knitted ties. Buy Italian slip-ons and buy that pair of Barkers brogues !
You know - important stuff like that ! At last -the joy of good clothes after being a hopeless lard-a** all that time !!
Might even save bit by bit for that sleek Maurice Lacroix or Rado watch.

IMHO, it's bad luck revealing one's New Year's resolutions. But hey, maybe I'm just superstitious. To each their own.
Best to all on their goals for 2010.

Double-edged sword, but both in your favour. If you reveal your resolution, you can blame the bad juju when it doesn't work out... it's not your fault if you failed. If you don't reveal it, no one knows what it was in the first place, so no one knows that you didn't succeed
(not intended as a personal slight against you, good sir... just an observation of certain other people I know with the same belief)

In random order, eat more, drink more, love more, laugh more, shoot more, fish more, learn more, enjoy life more------yes, I will really have to work hard at ALL these, this year!

Find a cure for all known diseases and rid the world of all of it's problems. If not achievable again this year, then I'll need to think of a new one next year.

Lose Weight
Lose some weight so that I can actually wear my kilts. It's been almost a year since I last put on a kilt, and it's driving me crazy. My wife and I joined Weight watchers today, so I expect to be in my kilts again within 6 months.
