For Jock - Where is Terry when he's needed, he warned us that you would start to play up whilst he is absent. And yes, the too & froms gave us a whooping this summer. I still don't understand how we won, or they lost the Perth test.
lukeyrobertson - as to the matching of leathers, Brian K has hit the nail on the head, throw out most of your saxon ideas of matching this with that

Looks great to me. I just received a balmoral from Chris in that same colour. Haven't had the chance to Jock mine yet.

I'd say mission accomplished Downunder, because everything looks THCD to a T.
Is there a sgian hidden on your back leg? Not that they are required but they are certainly a nice addition...

Ah yes! I am sorry every one it was quite remiss of me to mention, in passing, that off topic subject of Australia not winning "The Ashes"-----again.
Note to self:- "this is a kilt forum, must keep on topic, must not mention anything about a lost cricket series ,or anything like that" Okay got it!

black and brown leathers
32 minutes and counting! I am newly kilted so I stand as one appreciative of BK's comments. It is of course, a splendid outfit! Now I've got my leathers sorted out.

That is a nice turnout! I particularly like the jacket (I have one exactly like it!), and I think the tie is fine with that kilt.

Outstanding! You know that ensemble looks the business and you've only posted the pictures to show off that beautiful sporran. I've got the measure of you Sir...
Great effort. Love it.
No cricket comments from me though. Like Jock, I am aware that this is a kilt forum so it would be remiss to bring up that the Australians fared so badly this year against one of the best English cricketing sides of all time. And that the only reason you won the Perth test is 'cause the English let you. I wouldn't say anything like that... Not me! Oh no... not me. (it was a cracking contest though you have to admit. And the Rugby World Cup to come... Can't wait.)
