The presentation went great. What was supposed to be a 20-30 minute talk turned into an hour. The first graders seemed captivated as well as the 3 teachers. They had lots of questions about the kilt and about St. Patrick. They all clapped at the end and each of the 3 teachers thanked me and said they learned a lot as well. One of the teachers said that the children would be talking about it all day. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to educate these young minds. I would be willing to bet that here are about 75 first graders that would come to your defense if anyone teased you about wearing a kilt.
