A liripipe hood has a long extension - it is actually made from the part cut of the bottom to make a curved hem, join two bits and it will make a hood and the long part either hangs down at the back or can be wrapped around like a scarf. There are actually four bits, so the hood could be made double thickness, or perhaps pockets/hand warmers.
I have been thinking of adding a white edging around the hood and front edges and maybe a pom pom on the end of the liripipe.
I will try to get a picture.
