It does seem more expensive as the years go by.

Miolchu,
I don't think you'll be able to cross-post pictures from Facebook. Facebook generally requires a membership, and for people to be logged in at that, in order to view photos.
I only see a blank space where your photos should be.
You may have to re-host them elsewhere -- perhaps imageshack.us or photobucket, or similar, where you can obtain a direct link to the images.

All I can say is, WOW! It was an absolutely amazing festival! We got to meet some wonderful Xers, and the shows and parades were great. The only bummer was half-way into our 10 hr. drive to get there my lovely wife asked, "Did you remember to pack the camera?". We stopped and bought a disposable with a 27 pic capacity. I'll know by tomorrow if any of them are good enough to share with you rabble. We're definitely going back next year. (I've already packed the camera!)
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

Baldy, you'd better keep it out. You might need it between now and next September.

Re: Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Festival
I ended up getting over to the festival, too, but only for a little while (I had to work Saturday morning, so I didn't get there until after 3:00 in the afternoon.) I stopped to listen to Albannach and Brother and never ended up getting to the clan tents (sorry Livingston! ) I did have a great time though, and definitely plan on going again.
Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the celtic music section, but it was from the Estes Tattoo...so I guess I'll try here first. I took this video of the Scots Guards at the Tattoo on my phone...and I was wondering if anyone could list all of the tunes they played. I know a few of them, but I don't know the others:

That's ok, it was very busy there that afternoon and I didn't get a chance to leave until about 5:30

Re: Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Festival
I knew I should have checked here before heading up. My girls and brother and I headed up Saturday and Sunday. It was our 2nd trip up there and has become a new family tradition.
