Another Isle of Skye joins the fray

I fell in love with the Isle of Skye Kilt Barb Tewksbury did pleated to no stripe so thought I would make one for myself.

Yes, this is a Contemporary Style Kilt!
It is machine sewn, has a real waistband w/real beltloops. It is pleated to no stripe and contains 8.36 yards of fabric.
This kilt has 2 Side Slash Pockets and an Under-Apron Pocket.

I am wearing one of my Kilt-Cut Sport Coats in Brown Donegal Tweed
I paired the kilt with Freelander Sporran #64 which I took off the display in the shop, a Brown braided sporran Kilt Strap from R-Kilts, Kilt Belt from Lee River, a First Nations "Sun" Kilt Pin, & Coffee Brown Heritage Hose.

    Here is a pleat shot.

And the back showing the pleating.

Just to prove that there really are pockets.

Oooh IoS with pockets, I want. Now you should come up with a custom coloured Heritage Hose just for IoS.

Looks great and the pockets blend in with the kilt!

Awesome! Nice ensemble, too. That should go into one of the style threads. Oh, wait - can't do that.

    Nice work!

    Rex.

    Steve,

That is a very handsome kilt and I love how you havw coordinated the outfit (especially the hose, tie, and the patches on the jacket!).

    Very well done!

    Cheers

That looks very good Steve. You might have to buy that freelander as it goes so well with the outfit.

A very nice kilt Steve and just like the pleat shot is necessary, I think it has become necessary to do the FK pocket shot.
