I suspected when I posted the question that I had just answered it. As for leaving early, here's a short story:
I used to get up every morning at 3:30 to get into the station and start producing the morning's newscasts. I don't think a morning went by that my first thought wasn't, "If I had stayed in the Army I could be sleeping in 'til 5:00."
I'll rebook. Gotta be there for the "Passing of the Dandelion" and to get a sporran.

DO NOT do that when I'm drinking coffee!
Uhhhh...I want to be there in time to buy myself a sporran, whilst enjoying the proceedings. "Passing the Torch" sounds so it's-already-been-overdone-in-the-movies. "Passing the Dandelion" fits our crew.
Good thing we're not a curling club, eh?

Does anyone that is attending have a digital camcorder? We could perhaps record the ceremony and then upload it to YouTube for those who can't be there. Sadly, I'm still in the dark ages when it comes to that stuff.
I'll have my still camera for shots to post here and to make prints for any who would like them.
