Sunday fun

This past Sunday my youngest boy Neill tested for his Nidan (second degree black belt) in the Martial Art of Kendo (way of the sword), Japanese fencing. I started teaching him when he was 6 along with his older siblings. Neill passed with flying colors and is the youngest to make the Team going to Brasil in August to the World Championships.

but did he call his Kote Ippon? Looks like an unusual kendo match! These thingsare hard to watch as a bystander. Its kind of like chess, if you do not understabd it you won't like to watch/study it...
