Howdy!
Well guys n gals, its been a heck of a ride. So far during the summer and fall my boy has gone thru cancer surgery (one'o the boys gone) and treatment. He still isn't clear and the doctors are shaking their heads wondering what to do next.
I have been thru a seperantion and near divorce but we are back together and it is in the process of being sorted out as time goes on.
Throughout the entire process I never laid down my kilt and wearing it never failed to raise my spirits, if even just a little.
A great big thanks to those that sent me words of encouragement and all that kept me and my family in their thoughts and prayers!
Let the kilting continue!!!
Mike
PS, Ham, I showed the wife your sweep and seat video. I think she is coming after you my friend. : )

Good thing that you are a man with dignity to make it through the ordeal. Continue with the positives. I'll be thinking of you and your family.

Mike, I am so sorry to learn of this and wish you well for the future. I had slightly similar issues earlier this year - surgery was not an option but regular treatment is keeping everything under control, as far as I currently know! So, to a massively lesser extent, I understand your predicament and I feel for you.

Hearing this sort of thing always saddens me, but I am delighted that you are both working at mending the situation and I pray that everything will soon be resolved.
Throughout the entire process I never laid down my kilt and wearing it never failed to raise my spirits, if even just a little.

Kilt wearing does have proven restorative qualities, Mike - in fact, kilts should be available through our National Health Service and independent health insurance policies!
As for your wife's reaction: no comment!! (But tell her a special "Hi" from me!)

Hang in there Mike. As a 9 year cancer suvivor, I know it can be beat, so don't lose hope.
