New American made sgian dubh
I ran across a web site making many Native American items and they also include a nice looking sgian dubh and also belt material at very reasonable prices. At the end of the month, think that I might invest the 27 $ and see what the sgian dubh is like. It is the last accessory I plan to buy for a while. How does it look to you old timers out there?

This isn't the same site as the one Phicong linked to, but you might want to look here as well, especialy if you are a DIY'er.

I've dealt with Crazycrow for almost 20 years. Mr. Reddick is a good guy' Its a good place to get animal hides with faces and tails.

For some reason Phicong started two threads on the same subject. Perhaps they can be merged?

Looks **** to me, and not very traditional, either in the hilt material, hilt profile, or the use of poorly executed checkering. Not to my taste; YMMV.

From the description it seems like a good deal and might even be functional. Carved buffalo horn and carbon steel. Carbon steel generally means it can be decently sharpened.
