Not specifically a kilt night, but...

I'll be in Portland, OR this weekend. If people want to come visit and hang out for a bit on Saturday, between 9 am and 1 pm, I'll be at the iPd garage sale/swap meet at 11744 NE Ainsworth Circle. iPd is a Volvo/Subaru performance/maintenance parts supplier, and each year, during the 3rd weekend of May, they have a sale. I've been there every year, since 1996. The last couple years, I've worn my Utilikilts to the swap meet. This year, I plan to go a bit more traditional. To protect my kilt from sometimes dirty Volvo parts, I will be wearing a BBQ apron, but I will be traditionally attired from the waist down.

For the most part, I will be on the swap meet side of the event, which is held in the parking lot on the north side of Ainsworth Circle. Anyway, to get there, take Exit 24B off of 205 northbound, or Exit 24 off 205 southbound. Turn east onto Airport Way, go through one (or two, depending on which exit you took off of 205 - 24B, only one light, whereas 24 would have two lights) light, then turn right at the next intersection, which'll be Ainsworth Circle. Either park along the street, or in the east side of the parking lot on the north side of the street. Look for the somewhat short and wide guy with long hair and a kilt.

Wish I could get there to meet you John, but alas, I work from 9 to 5 on Saturdays. I know from the Portland kilt night thread that you have quite a busy schedule planned around meeting up with friends. It's frustrating to know that your "in my backyard" but we'll miss. I'm sure we'll meet at some future opportunity. Good luck with your swap meet.
