Sgian dubh bottle opener

I know about Rab Gordon already....too much money for my tastes right now.

So, anyone know of folks out there creating similar "sgian don'ts" and perhaps in the USA?

I did catch Panache's archived info on making it yerself, but i'm lazy.

I bought a couple and the are all right...just make sure that the cap remover end is firmly glued into the handle...one of our's was good and the other needed a little re-drilling and epoxy. The handle is plastic, imitation antler and I sanded down one side of mine to feel and fit better on the leg.

I just got 4 of the same ones Rob is talking about. I have not had a chance to wear them yet. This weekend I am going to give them a shot. They seem good for the money. I contacted the guy (Randy) because I could not find any offered on ebay when I was looking. He was nice and made them to order for me and charged me $14.99 each and gave me free shipping since I bought 4 of them.

i think Panache might actually sell them as well. Why not try contacting him. I have one of his "Sgian don't's" and it's awesome! Fits, really nicely in the sock and in my hand. works well too.
