Dropkick Murphys - Kiss Me, I'm Sh*tfaced (really, nearly anything by them...)
    Dr. Demento - F*ck You, I'm Drunk
Flogging Mollys - Drink & Fight
Gordon Parsons - The Pub With No Beer (actually an Aussie)
Spirit Of The West - Home For A Rest (who HASN'T heard this one? Its the 'Backpacker's Anthem')
The Dreadnoughts - Fire Marshall Willy
The Pogues or The Dubliners - Lots to choose from

    Some traditional songs:
    Rocky road to Dublin
    Finnegans wake
    Irish rover

Man, you can go forever...lol. I have a CD entitled "Songs of drinking and rebellion"-as one can imagine, its got pretty much every pub song on there..

    My favorites would probably be:

    Bastards - The Real McKenzies
Spicy McHaggis Jig - The Dropkick Murphys
    Drunken Lullabies - Flogging Molly
    Drink & Fight or 5 O'Clock - The Mudmen

I can't drink anymore, but for drinking songs of the Celtic variety, it would be really hard to get much better than the Clancy Brothers.

    Some of my faves:
    Cruiscin Lan
    Pub With No Beer
    Whisky, You're the Divil
    Juice of the Barley
    Finnegan's Wake
    Maloney Wants a Drink
    Mountain Dew

Got to go with "Another Irish Drinking Song" by DaVinci's Notebook.

How can I not love a song with lyrics like:

    "Ken, he died in Kilkenny
And Claire she died in Claire
    Darren died in Derry
    Taking in the Derry air."

    and

    "My only hope is when
The Good Lord comes for me and you
He kills the cast of Riverdance
    And Michael Flattley, too."

...it's a PARODY, folks...it's meant to be funny...don't take it seriously...Mr. Flattley is obviously still alive...

    Best

    OK, I'll contribute one

I think "The Irish Ballad" by Tom Lehrer is great song to sing and drink to.

    Cheers

THE best drinking song, INMO: Barrett's Privateers by the late great Stan Rogers:

    http://www.chivalry.com/cantaria/lyr...rivateers.html

    Right, Colin?

If I had to pick another one, it would have to be Waltzing Matilda. There are just too many to pick from.

    Cheers,

    Todd
