Casual Nylon Sporrans
As I mentioned not too long ago, Japanese folks make Pajama bags for kids in the form of small backpacks, many in the shape of plush characters. Today, while I was looking for a nice one, I found some nylon bags by "Dr. Ion" that would make nice sporrans for grown-ups. http://www.jbox.com/SEARCH/dr._ion/1/. I think the top two bags would do nicely, don't you?

If you want a nylon sporran I would go for a nightstalker

That does seem pretty functional. But, I think it would be best used with the provided strap than as a sporran.

I just received my Night Stalker and I am really pleased. Holds all of my things plus keeps the flask available.

At the risk of seeming goofy (I mean, I don't want you guys to get the idea that I'm goofy or anything), I've even tried to convince myself to look into using this as a sporran:

or even this:

Well, umm, probably not with a tartan kilt!

A few of those have some possibilities, but I prefer a sporran which maintins a certain ratio of width to height not found in many items.
