Finally!!!
I currently own 2 kilts; a casual from USAK, and another casual from FK. the FK one I am now wearing hiking, camping, and general outdoorsy things. The FK is my events kilt (casual of course). I only have pics of me in my FK from this weekend, but, hey, at least I finally got some pics!
A little background on the pictures;
I am an avid geocacher (for a good explanation, visit their website at geocaching.com), and we had an event this past weekend, that was a geocaching tournament. As I was camping out since friday night, I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to have my official kilted coming out. So, I went the whole weekend kilted, and was VERY comfortable wearing it all weekend. Steve did an awesome job making this, and it held up great. I did quite alot of bushwhacking with this on, and hiked, all told, about 20 miles throughout the weekend. My legs took some abuse from the briars, but the kilt held up excellent!
Lastly, an explanation of the pictures; First one, my & my teammate, after another team attempted to stop us by rolling a rock in front of our tire. All in good fun.
,
Second: me at my 300th find. This one was a good bushwhack...about 300 meters of mountain laurel, picker bushes, and poison ivy. Ah, I love new england woods!
There will be other pics, as the event organizer wanted pictures of me kilted while caching. So, I will be in the local paper, as well as on the flyers for next year. If/when I see those, I'll post those up too. They were staged, but fun!!!

That's a really nice looking kilt. You wear it well. I love the color. I think my first non-tartan kilt will have to be olive drab.

13 years in the infantry makes you old: Especially when your coworkers are 10 years younger. Once you're over 30, you're an old man. But, thanks for the comments all. I got nothing but positive feedback wearing it, and some good natured ribbing. The two most asked questions were "are you scottish?" and "man, your legs took a beating". But, I am TOTALLY hooked on this thing! The pocket on the side is great, the durability was awesome, and the fit perfect.
