Nostalgia and Fond Memories of Pittsburgh Kilts
Its been some time since Jeff Morneweck quit sewing up kilts, but he's left his old website on line.
For those of you who are newer and missed Jeff's talent and imagination and ability to turn our ideas into reality take a peek at the four pages of custom kiltwork in the gallery on the website.

Them were the days....thanks for all you did Jeff, it were good work!

Jeff did wonderful and creative work. I miss him on the forum. I hope he is doing well and now able to feed his family.
I have a PK in my shop. Gray Winter Weight Cotton with Maroon under-pleats to show customers just how creative someone can be with the kilt. Most are disappointed when I tell them that Jeff is no longer in business.
Having met Jeff and his family I found him delightful and a true craftsman.
Jeff, if you ever read this, COME BACK!!!

I agree with you, Ron. I was never fortunate enough to obtain one of Jeff's fine kilts. When he went out of the kilt making business, I had almost enough saved up to buy one, but never got it ordered. I go to his website about once every couple of months. I have also left him a few messages. not requesting kilts, but to just say he is missed and that we all hope he is doing well, because he was not only a fantastic kiltmaker, but also a respected and valued member of our group.

I miss Pittsburgh Kilts too ... all the more so now that none of my PK's really fit me anymore. I'd love to rotate some new PK's in, and look forward to the day I can do so.
Does anyone want a PK with a waist measurement in the neighborhood of 37"? I suppose I should find them a home.

I was lucky enough to get one of his last kilts. He made a great product and was very easy to work with.
And they certainly have the mojo factor:

I certainly miss Jeff as well. My one PK is getting quite worn, and I have no way to replace it (it is a lined one and no one else offers that).
Maybe one of these days then this silly computer fad finally ends, he will get back to his true calling of making kilts.
