I went out today in my new MacLeod hunting SWK. Tell me what you think. Going to a wedding is what the dressier pic is. Opinions please!

You should see about getting yourself a sporran. SWK's Nightstalker is a good choice but nylon. Will hold a crap loada stuff though.

I vote for a sporran and a new belt (this belt is too "busy" and distracts from your kilt).
Other than that, lookin' good...you have a delightful smile!

Looks good, all in all, I would have to agree about the sporran Still Water has some good prices on sporrans, and they ship quick, also when you are looking for a belt I would agree a plain belt is best, and it should be about 2" thick. Last thing always remember, brown belt, brown sporran and shoes, black belt, black sporran and shoes.

Second, third, and fourth to everyone else (RE: sporran).

I would also go with a different colored shirt than that blue one. Just personal opinion...it looks good regardless!

I like the boot pic best.

Check out Ham's album for ideas - he's got it down pat.

But don't be afraid of experimenting and pushing the envelope, there's no "right" way...what works for you is best.

I think the belt is fine for a casual, sort of punk, look.

A sporran would be nice. Some will hold quite a bit more than trouser pockets.

Good look. Ditto on the sporran--SWK has some for a ridiculous price, like $15 or so. As to a belt, look for a wide plain black belt at discount stores like Target or Wal Mart. Believe it or not, look in the women's section for wide belts. This will be inexpensive and the larger sizes should fit you since you look like a trim fellow.
