Proper Kilt Pin Placement
This has probably been done to death on the boards, but I have to ask. I've worn a kilt for a while now, not everyday like you lads and lassies, but on certain special occasions. I usually wear my kilt pin on the front apron only (naturally!) and anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3 up from the bottom.
My question is, is there a rule for the proper placement of the pin or is anywhere on the bottom half near the edge acceptable? And while we're at it, IS there a proper distance away from the frayed edge?
