SWK waist sizing?
I have a quick question. I don't own a SKW and was wondering if the waist sizes run alittle large or small, are they pretty accurate sizes.
I have a waist size of about 35-35 1/2 inches, in other words I'm between the even number waist size.
Would a 34 inch work for me?
thanks,
dave

I'd upsize if you have a larger hip measurement. This will ensure you have good apron coverage and it's easy to take in the waist buckle if need be. If you are rumpless you'll do fine with your size.

SWK sizes for the smallest size it will fit, so a 34 will theoretically fit up to a 35-1/2" or so. In any case, don't remove the basting stitches until you put your kilt on to make sure it fits. If the basting stitches are still in, you can exchange it for a larger/smaller size.

Thanks O'Neille, I'm basically butt-less with a measurement of between

I ordered an SWK and found it was too small. Called Jerry and he had the larger size on the way to be that day.

Not a hijack...just maybe a heads up...
Try it on and don't take out the stitching.
Does which style SWK matter? I've seen a couple of posts stating the Eco & Standard are generous in size.
I purchased an Eco a couple weeks ago and got it last week. It was meant to be a strictly wear around the house kilt so I didn't want to use a belt. I ordered my exact size waist and it falls straight to the ground. I can fit my entire fist between the kilt and my naval.

Same as me, and I have and love the Weathered Half Lamont. Hope you enjoy your kilt.

Unfortunately I don't see the weathered Lamont in my size on Jerry's site![Crying or Very sad](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)
Does he keep his site up to date on sizes? Would it be worth a call to find out?

Sadly, I got the second to last Weathered Half Lamont in size thirty-six. Email SWK though because I don't know how the inside goings on work. They really are very helpful. Hope the best for you.

Keep an eye on the site. What's available changes frequently, from what I've seen.
