Burns Night in Winchester VA 01/26/08

Hello All - Hope I have posted this in the right place. Newby to this...
I wanted to let those who live in the Northern Virginia area that there is a Burns Night Dinner to benefit the City of Winchester Pipes and Drums on January 26, 2008. It is our annual fund raiser.

There will be Traditional Scottish Entertainment featuring the City of Winchester Pipes and Drums and the Presentation of the Haggis. Highland dress and/or Black Tie optional. $50/person.

Went last year and had a great time. Yes, my son should be playing with the band this year. Still has one more tune to memorize and have a drummer in training.

Welcome from South Central PA. I was in Winchester yesterday visiting my wife family. There is a kilted afternoon in the Baltimore area that I am commited to otherwise this would sound interesting.

There is a growing kilt group in the Frederick, Baltimore, Washington area you need to watch the Kilt Night area and join us at the next kilt night/afternoon.

You also need to recruit as may as possible to join X-Marks.

I agree, in Lovettsville, you're not far from Frederick, where I am. We'd be glad to have you join us sometime.
