Poll: How many kilts do you own?
I was just wondering how many kilts do you personally own? These can be traditional or the modern Utility kilts. How often do you wear them?

I personally own two kilts, a tradional tartan kilt and a modern utility kilt type, called a Bilt Kilt.

One: my Stewart Black SWK Standard. So far, it's my only kilt (I'm pretty new at this, so I technically voted "one.") However, I have a Colquhoun USAK casual on the way in the coming weeks. I've got a growing wish list now too... shame I probably won't afford to get any through college but oh well, after the debts are gone... maybe...
I've been finding myself over the past few months since receiving my 1st kilt, the SWK, wearing it very often, at least every other day at home and out and about about six or seven times already.

I have 15 kilts, and I wear them everyday. I really only wear trousers for costumes any more.
I have 1 "Tank" in my clans muted tartan (Crawford), 2 SWK Standards, 1 SWK Heavy weight, and 11 UK's, including a Black Leather. I also have a Matt Newsome 4-yard box-pleat on order in my clans Modern tartan.

I have twelve: 5 Utilikilts (which got me into kilts), four SWKs, two Sportkilts, and one Lochcarron kilted skirt-- by far the most beautiful of the lot. I wear it for special occasions, and the others... all the time.

What an interesting question.....
I own 10+ (if you count those currently on order or being built....) they are
SWK Standards - Black Stewart, Irish National (not reallyu worn any longer, going to my nephew.
SWK Heavy weights..... Leatherneck box pleat, Weathered Lamont Varian, Black Watch Variant
13oz Handsewn - Mackinnon Hunting Ancient
16oz Handsewn - MacKinnon 1842 variant
16oz boxpleat - Isle of Skye
16oz boxpleat - MacKinnon Modern red (with Matt being constructed)
16oz Handsewn - Xmarks (with Barb)
I wear these two or three times a week, on average.

i have three kilts. i wore a "black watch" rental to my wedding three years ago and shortly after placed an order for a made-to-measure "modern buchanan". it's a strathmore. bee-utiful! i felt a little nervous about wearing it out to the bars and such so i pulled an ancient kennedy off of e-bay, a 16 oz lochcarron almost exactly my size, now it's my fun kilt that i will not be upset if anything happens to. and then i got an "IoS" of off e-bay, 16oz lochcarron also, however the craftsmanship does not seem to be to the same level as the kennedy or the buchanan, this one will get the most wear for casual kilt wearing in the future.
i have plans to order a few more made-to-measure's in the future, "crawford" and "weir", and i am always on the look-out for maclaren, mackay, nicholson and a few others that are in my family tree.
i wear my kilts when i can. not to work or daily or anything but nights out, weddings, seasonal events etc. they get a fair amount of usage.
i look forward to reading the results as i know there are a few people with multitudes of kilts. cheers all.
