Classic single width is 27 inches. Double width is 54 to 60 inches.

Please remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. Stupid answers? That is something else altogether. . .

Many thanks. I want to be able to buy enough for a tartan flag of sorts and was wondering about what size I would end up with. Based on what I've seen, I think then that most flags are about one yard. Yep, I have given some strange answers in times past.

A yard should do fine for a medium sized flag It would be either 3 x4.5 or 3x5. A popular size for flags in the emporia which sell a variety.
