    Starting a UCF Club

I want to start a club for people who have interest in Scottish and other culturally Celtic cultures. Anybody have an idea for a name that is inclusive of other cultures, but not too broad. Wit is good. It's likely to be the name of an "official" University of Central Florida club.

The format will probably be UCF _______
    i.e. UCF Celtic Cultures Club

Instead of "re-inventing the wheel," how about a UCF branch of New World Celts? I know several XMarkers are involved with them -- Shriner and James MacMillen among others, I'm sure.

I'll look into that... I didn't even know that wheel existed. Thanks!

I looked into it... I think we ought to get a UCF Rabble together before joining.

Just got the wheels rolling. I've got about 20 people on my petition to start a new club in one day. Most of them were in the 30 minutes I sat outside the Student Union in a kilt. All I need now is a worthy non-for-profit charity to donate club funds to if the club is dissolved and a faculty adviser. Any of ya'll know a worthy charity? Faculty at UCF?

Brixton is a mostly black suburb in South London. I had no idea they were celts. Must be related to Samuel L. Jackson?

My ignorance fails me again. I was trying to remember the seven nations from memory. According to http://www.celticgrounds.com/chapters/c-nations.htm it's Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Mann, Scotland, and Wales
