Kilted Groom
With all the discussion of kilted weddings, I wonder - where does one obtain a kilted groom cake topper in North America? Are bride toppers available with the tartan sash? Are different tartans available on these cake toppers?
Thanks In Advance,
ColMac
(for those of you from rural Texas, I don't mean the other kind of cake topper)

If you google cake toppers you'll get loads of sites, such as www.totallytoppers.com Many will match your tartan and some will even try to match your face.

They're a bit cartooney.

We got our kited cake topper by enlisting a friend to make them. We bought standard cake toppers, and our friend (who builds all kinds of models for a hobby, and somewhat for work), painted the trouser legs to socks (and just a bit of knee), and then scanned a scrap of fabric (I made the kilts), scaled it, and printed it out. His big disappointment, was not knowing how the pleating in the back actually looked (he didn't know to line up the tartan). My big disappointment is that my groom forgot to ice the cake until 30 minutes before the wedding, he iced, placed the toppers on it and because he didn't let it chill before putting the toppers on, they sank.
But here are some picture links for your reference (and amusement)
