Kilted couch surfing
As many of you know, I am graduating from college this spring. Big time, I know. But before I go off into the real world, a friend and I have decided to take the Great American Road Trip. Why am I telling you all this? Basically, we all love meeting with other X Markers and having Kilt Nights. What I am asking is if any of you guys along our route would be willing to put us up for a night. You don't even need a couch, we're bringing our own sleeping bags! The dates will be from May 18th-June 1st (+ or -).
Here's the route
So if any of you guys would like to meet up and give us a place to crash for a night, let me know. It would really help us out and be a lot of fun! Also, if you're not exactly on the route, but close by, we are willing to detour a bit! Bagpipes will be performed upon request!! Thanks guys!

If you were coming up this way I'd say sure grab some floor, heck we'd even have a SOKS Kilt Night for you. Have a great time on the trip.

Pity you won't be coming farther east. It was a pleasure meeting you when I was in Chicago last fall, and I would have been glad to host you here in Florida. Perhaps some time in the future ...

Looks like we are off of your route, and actually not worth the two lane roads for a free night on the floor. Hope you have a great trip, looks like you will definately get to see a lot of different things both climate and people wise.

Wow, that sounds like a fantastic trip!
Btw...you could always head north into Canada, then west. We have a spare bedroom or two available.

Too bad you're not going to be heading through Colorado. I know there are a few of us here that would enjoy putting you up for the night. Have fun.

Ya should also detour into the Seattle area, then drive US 101 from Olympia up to Port Angeles, then down along the coast to Oregon.

I know that I would love to meet you. When I graduated from college, I too took a trip across the US round up seeing 48 states, yes I did all the contiguous.
