A fellow aficionado of hand crated beers
This morning I got up shaved, showered and went to the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, KS, where a fellow aficionado of hand crated beers is the Reverend. There was good fellowship and after the sermon a gentleman approached me and said that he too has a kilt but needed to loose a few pounds before he could wear it again. I was greeted with open arms and many nice comments.
These hose go so well with this kilt.

An interesting shot I thought.

I know there was some controversy regarding those hose, but they do look great with that kilt, for sure. Another great look.
Now was it the beer that brought you to church?
Regards,
Rex.

No I went to church to hear my friend speak and for the fellowship, the beer was afterwards. It seems like many things I do on this forum are either controversial or never allowed to be published.

No worries. The hose look great as does the outfit.
Church, fellowship and beer afterwards sounds even better.

Great pics, but you didn't tell us anything about the beer! Inquiring minds want to know.

The beer is OK, I was drinking a stout and then a bitter, nothing to go out of your way for, not like the beer at Free State Brewery in Lawrence, KS.

The controversy was whether that brand of hose was all it has been purported to be, and had nothing to do with you in particular. I think that sometimes photography distorts our perception (for the better or worse) and in introducing those hose to us , one characterstic was exaggerated.
I think it's indisputable, however, that you have a great sense of style and know who you are, and there can be no controversy in that.
Regards,
Rex.

Agreed, Rex. I think these most recent photos speak for the quality and craftsmenship of Victoria & Almost Unwearoutable.
And as far as ale and kirk goes, have a look at the web site of St. Michael & All Angels (Episcopal) in Inverness:

scroll down and read about "St. Michael's Steeple Ale"! int:
