I just wanted to take the oppportunity to remind everyone of the Kelso Highlander Festival. The dates are September 12 and 13. The Wicked Tinkers will be there for one of their only two Northwest shows this year, the other is Enumclaw. We are have athletics competitions both days, solo competition on Saturday and a fun team competition on Sunday. Along with this are all the other stuff, dancing, piping, vendors and Clan tents. We even have a shortbread competition. I don't get to see most of it, as I am competing each day. There is no parking or entry fee! Yes it is FREE! This is my local games and I want to see it continue. We have been having a decline in attendence in the past. Last year was better, but I want to set records this year! I would give you more info if I could. I am also volunteering to help organize the athletics, and for those of you who have competed in the past, I have added events to bring it up to a total of 8! And yes, I have added the 20# Sheaf!
