    My "New" AlphaKilt

Here is the AlphaKilt I picked up off of Kilted Carver - my first time wearing it!

I needed a kilt belt so I went and bought some full grain leather, black leather dye, a leather punch and buckle - now I have nice wide belt!

Me and my ride - not to worry, I won't be riding in the kilt

    Regards,

    Moon

Both the kilt AND the bike look great! Can you tell us more about the ride?

Thanks, Streetcar! Well, the bike is something I put together myself from a kit I bought. It is my first bike and my first time building one - it was loads of frustrating fun. I have changed out the bars (they were ape hangers), grips and a few other things. I have a custom pan seat that is in the mail - I am going to do the leatherwork for the seat.

It's only 250cc - but that's fine for me. It's a suicide clutch and jockey shift - 5 speed. Top speed around 90 MPH but I just ride it around here and have no desire to go 90 MPH...ever.

    Regards,

    Moon

Where did you get the kit - I am very interested. I need something to ride around the city and I like the look of it big time. The truck is a bit too much of a gas hog.

One of the most wonderful things about kilts is that they hold their value.

When one of us outgrows, or becomes too skinny, for their kilts they can be passed on to others at fair value.

Its a win-win decision. The kilt seller gets some funds to buy a kilt in their new size. The buyer gets a good deal with a very short jones.

The kilt doesn't have to be a closet queen, but can be out and about swishing with pride.

One of the most wonderful things about this board is that we gather here and if a person needs to pass on a kilt they're very likely to find a buyer here. And we trust each other in the transaction.

    And you wear it well.

Ah...Ron and Lady M - I was hoping no one would notice my means of housekeeping!

We are planning to move into a larger home next year - right now we have two daughters in a house with only two bedrooms (the girls share a room) and no basement or attic - We stash stuff in, under and on top of everything. Since my 5 year old took the photo you can see under my dresser!

Ron, you are very right. I am so lucky to have found this site. The people here are my kind of people - and I got a beautiful kilt in great shape at a great price - and Kilted Carver got some funds to go toward his next kilt!

    Kilt on,

    Moon

    And possibly a sock.

Moon, you look great in your new kilt. Congratulations. You wear it well!

(and I'm not usually a motorcycle fan, but I love that bike)

Great pics, you wear it well and in fact the alpha kilt looks a lot nicer in these pics than it does on their website.

I agree with Cessna, the Alpha Kilt looks great, better than on web site. Now to repeat an earlier question, where did you find the bike kit?
