Really big kilt hose
Just wondering if anyone here knows of a place that stocks big plain white kilt hose. Plain white with no special top (the band have our own made up)
By big, I mean to fit a 15/16US shoe and about 22" from floor to just under knee.
Any guidance is appreciated, have tried the largest sizes in most available here in Aus, if worse comes to worse im happy to look at ordering 10 pairs or something if I have to get them custom done..
I figure eventually I may have the same problem with spats? If thats so guidance theres appreciated aswell

Wow, it sounds like even the largest size hose we keep in stock may be a bit too small for you. But you are not without options.
The place that makes our custom diced and argyll hose for us (see here) is also more than capable of making plain-colored hose, as well. If you want to send us an email with your requirements, I can get a price quote for you.
So, while not "stock" you can still get them, if you have the time to be patient. :-)

I love the word hose ! It reminds me of the Carry On film "Carry On Henry", when King Henry VIII (Sid James) was trying on new tights (hose) and jacket in front of his effeminate royal tailor. The tailor asked how he felt in it.
King Henry, looking in the mirror moans “There’s not enough length in the hose”
The tailor replies “Ohhh, Your Majesty is far too modest !”

Check this item on EBAY 320459388883.
I wear a size 14 and I've had good luck with them, and the price is right.
You might E-mail them and ask if they'll stretch out enough for you.

Do you know anyone with a knitting machine?
Even if they can't shape the foot, it should be possible to create a legging, particularly if they have a ribber for their machine.
Then of course you'd have the problem of fiding a short sock to fit your foot, but that might not be as difficult as finding proper length hose to fit your leg.
