    Welsh Tartan from North Yorkshire

Hi, I'm Dave also get called Ben I'm from Thornaby Near Middlesbrough in the old North Riding of Yorkshire I started wearing kilts when doing long walks over the North Yorkshire moors, (I found wearing a kilt gave the walker more freedom of movement) Tho I am very much an outdoors person with reguards to plenty of hiking and open canoeing, I often wear my kilt more often than wearing those awful pants.

I have two kilts both are 8 yard heavy weight kilts one Black & the other the Heritage of Wales tartan, My main reason for joining here is to find some helpful tips about keeping my kilt in tiptop order when outdoors as well as maybe meeting other North east Kilted guys.

My Mothers family is welsh hence my username the family tartan is Williams.
