The following morning we were up early. Me waiting to get back in the bathroom Elaine only spent the morning with us as the band were meeting up for a sound check and the promoter was taking them for a meal etc. The only pic I took during the day was this huge wooden model boat in a bar not far from where the gig was Then we went and collected our back stage passes and took to our seats. The band made sure we had a great seat. The gig was a sell out. 4000 there
Then they went on. A few pics of Elaine strutting the stage and earning some corn.
Couple of pics of the crew packing it all up Elaine and Dan Just chatting with a friend With Carlos A few more signings before we left for the hotel Then it was back to ar n dots room for a couple o wines and a tot. Got to bed at 3am
Up early for breakfast and then we headed to the station for an early train back to Paris. We were spending the rest of the day and night in Paris. So it was straight to our Paris hotel and sort out what we were gonna do View from hotel bedroom We decided once again to go up to the little streets below the Sacre Ceur, so we took the metro to get there
We were soon there and took to the little streets We found a lovely little bar in this street so called in for an hour Passed the Moulin Rouge And headed for the Metro
We got off at Cite, by Notre Dame. Took a walk along to a little restaurant we know on the little island just above notre dame. Some pics en route The little restaurant
Up early again the next morning Waiting for a taxi to Gare de Nord and the Eurostar home Opposite the station are lots of bars and shops etc. The girls wanted to go to a specific shop so ar and me guarded the luggage in a safe harbour At Gare de Nord Back in London. Pic of Eurostar train. 19 carriages long and travels at 180mph. It incredible bit of engineeing Then a couple of hours after the taxi dropped us off and Elaine and myself headed up the church path to our little old cottage at the top. Thats it .. Iechyd Da Derek
