New Hose for Dad (work in progress)
I took my project over to my neighbor to try on, I figured since I sewed a button on his shorts, he kind of owed me a favor. And while the hose was on his leg, I snapped the photos.
First - detail of the turn-down cuff. It's the links of love pattern out of the Gainford book

Then a few leg shots, where the cuff's detail isn't so clear

I'm tickled they look good, and might actually be done for Dad to take to Scotland w/ him this summer. And I don't think the little lace panels are too girly - what's your opinion?

There may, probably will, be those that do not like any open work in hose, I am NOT one of those. I think they are excellent and look like they are well done.

Nice job. I am sure he will wear them with added pride!

Looks very nice! I love the cuff, it had not occurred to me to repeat that pattern around...

Looks really good! And I like the lace panels, too.
