    Ordered my Casual 5 yarder!

I am a STAUNCH believer in supporting North American kilt makers (Even though i am one, and staff 2 others), and from time to time i will make a point to buy from one of the many makers in this region. I've recently knocked one of the last 3 on my list. I'm a MacDonald of Skye, but we do know that some of the family emigrated to Nova Scotia and PEI, so its safe to assume that I have a connection to the MAcDonald of Glenadale (Google that title and you can read all about the mass emigration to NS & PEI). B&S offer this rare tartan in heavy weight material in their casual line up, so I went ahead and picked it up. Knowing that this amount of yardage would mean broader, as well as fewer pleats, I requested a pleating pattern that I'm hoping will be doable. I'm excited to receive this kilt and will present full review upon receiving.
Since I have 1/2 sizes in waist and hip, i had to actually email the measurements in, but I was taken care of promptly and with no hassle. A+ for customer service. Review to follow upon receiving kilt! Oh the JONES!!!

Congrats in advance of the new kilt! I wore my B&S casual to a Ren Faire this past weekend. It was incredible to wear in a chilly deluge, gusty winds and then warm sun later in the day. I'm sure you'll love yours, especially with a great family connection to the tartan.

Hopefully it can be done like this

I LOVe the way the anciend blue and greens collide and slowly meld into 4 quadrants-Just look closely and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I'll top this off with matched diced hose (I'm thinking castellated).
