    XMarks Ties

There have been a few threads lately about getting away from matchiness (Thanks, Jock!) and discussing the benefits of the striped tie...

But since not everyone is going to have a school or club tie, how about adding an XMarks "club tie" to the shop?

Just figured I'd throw it out there.

This is an idea I would be happy to stand behind. So long as it matches nothing I wear lol.

With all of the creative talent on the forum this sounds like a great idea. I have no school tie, but wear a tie to school almost every day.

I would be very much in favor of supporting a X Marks tie.

I'd buy one. Likely to wear it, too!

There was a time, not so long ago, when Sydnie7 and I were talking of that and how it could be done. There were some fine designs posted for consideration by the rabble and Sydnie even had some quotes in, if I recall. Perhaps we could ask the powers that be to bring it to the fore for re-thinking. I, too, think there is a market for a high quality tie in an XMarks design.

I'd definitely be in for a nice quality silk club tie. We would, however, have to make sure it contains at the most ONE colour of the X-Marks tartan (and not the blue) as an aid to non-matchiness.

Eh, it's 'teh intarwebs'. Ask three people, you get five opinions. I didn't know there was a previous discussion - it was during my long hiatus - but it at least seems like there are people interested in principle.
