A crazy idea, parts greater than the whole?
Okay, call it like you see it.
I have scant information on where, or in what units my Boyd ancestors served post 45. My father's side served in the early wars in the colonies, ending with his service in Korea as an Airman 1st class. My son is a Marine, and my daughter is going Air Force.
The oddest idea popped into my head concerning the creation of a para-military kit, that pays homage to all the sacrifices made by both sides of the family.
The reasoning behind this is the qualms I have of wearing a uniform of any kind representing any particular unit that sacrificed life or limb, regardless of loyalties, over the centuries.
So, a number 1, that has aspects of which pay homage to all those on both sides of the family who have served both our countries?
