I've had nothing but great experiences with vendor partners of Xmarks, so now I've decided to check out USAK. This being Memorial Day Weekend, yesterday I was out and about in my Stillwater Heavyweight wool kilt in Leatherneck tartan, and I realized a couple of things.

First, my experience with a pair of kilts from another vendor here have shown me that I'm perfectly fine with lower-yardage kilts but now am sort of soured on any not made to measure. Second, I don't really like a fabric weight of less than 16-oz.

So, deciding to stick with family tartans, I just pulled the trigger on a 5-yard USAK wool kilt in 16 oz. Douglas Grey Modern from Marton Mills.
