Many of you good folks here at X Marks have decided to support the museum by enrolling as individual members with us. We appreciate all the support!

We have had a few requests over the months about the possibility of clan societies joining as members.

We have, with the launch of our new gift shop web site, now incorporated clan membership into our museum membership program.

You will note that there are two levels. The second clan membership level, the "Affiliate Membership," will make your clan society eligible to be a part of a program that you'll now note on our gift shop site.

In essence, if your clan society is an affiliate member of the museum, you can designate your purchase to benefit your clan society and they will receive 5% of your purchase total (calculated before taxes or shipping) as a donation from our museum.

The clan society must be a member, but you as an individual do not have to be a member of either the museum, or the clan society for that matter. You only need to shop with us and designate the name of a participating clan society.

When you shop with us, your purchase is already benefiting a nonprofit heritage organization (the Scottish Tartans Museum), but you now have the chance to have your purchase benefit Scottish heritage in more than one way.

We are excited about the program and hope that many clans and individuals decide to take advantage of it!
