I> rings for sporran chains
Anyone know where I can get some of the triangular 'rings' that are used to make sporran chains?
I've tried Tandy and ebay but can't seem to find them...

You could try http://www.usabuckles.com/plastic-buckles-1-3-s.htm
But they are unlikely to be suitable for putting anywhere near a kilt unless you want to risk snagging of the fabric

Thanks. Would prefer metal ones and as you say, these may wel snag.

I googled triangle strap ring and got this link
http://www.albest.com/product.asp?Fu...=Triangle+Ring

I have used the one inch to make a new chain belt for myself. I just opened the last link in the chain and put the loop in it and then closed the chain link. You could also use a small "S" hook, just make sure that you close it so that it doesn't snag your kilt.
