Missing Banner Ads?
Anyone ever seen this (or seeing it now?)
In Firefox, I'm not able to see the vendor banner ads that would normally appear at the top of a page such as http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/
However, viewing the same URL from Internet Explorer, I see the banner ads.
Is there a cache or cookie issue that I should be looking into, or some Firefox-only peculiarity about the banner ads, that I'm not aware of?

Re: Missing Banner Ads?
Do you have Ad Blocker or similar installed in FireFox? That would stop them from appearing.

Also, are you running the latest version? In Windows it, according to my Help|About is 10.0.2. Can you replicate this with any additional sites you use?
Just trying to narrow down possibilities.

I didn't even think of that, yeah. That was the problem. I must have used IE the last time I logged on from this laptop. ::face palm::

Re: Missing Banner Ads?
I use firefox for all my internet browsing and I dont see the ads because I have a plugin called Ad Blocker. This speeds up browsing considerably on many websites.

I use AdBlock Plus in FF. I would suggest for those sites one wishes to still be there which have banner ads, manually add an exception to the filters. I've got Xmarks and a few other forums in mine, for example.
