Big & Tall Kilt Hose.

I'm in desperate need of assistance. I have a family member that's getting married on April the 7th & has decided to wear kilts as a nod to my family's roots. I was happily included as a groomsman, but, being a rather large gentleman, this has proven difficult. I was able to order a kilt & ghillie to fit, but I've been unable, so far, to purchase hose big enough to fit my calves (22in.)

Does anyone have any sources, or ideas as to how I could pull this off?

The Skye from House of Cheviot can fit that size calf. STM gift shop has some in stock.

^This is the best coarse. However, if the gift shop can't help you try sockdreams.com I wear some of their over the thigh hose as kilt socks. Not super quality but good enough, when new, to get you through.

The USAK Aran Hand-Knit hose fit my 20" calves with ROOM to spare, and they are just the XL ones, if I remember correctly there's even a larger size. I find them very handsome, albeit a bit chunky/clunky, but that's how I roll. But they have some additional flair for being solid hose thanks to the thick ribbed design, and that's what I find most attractive.
