Kilted Cystolitholapaxy
So I'm off for outpatient surgery later today...they're gonna laser a bladder stone - a side effect from the chemotherapy last year. Glad to see it gone and doing a huge third step on the anathesia part since gas passers have the highest rate of addiction of any profession.
Decided to wear my Utilikilt desert camo Survivor II for the adventure. Perfect for the long drive up to Flagstaff and back. Once at the hospital I can pull the pockets off for my ladyfriend who's coming along to drive after they drug me up. Just give her all my stuff in them pockets.
And Flagstaff is a very kilt friendly town. Even had someone yell out a car window at me, "Hey Utilikilt!" in a most positive tone of voice. Not everyday you get a verbal high five like that AND they identify the brand of kilt accurately.
When I went for the look see last month - for the doc to look up there and verify what the CT scan showed, wore a kilt too. He just flipped it up out of the way.
So...we'll see how this works out.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
