    First attempt at a Sporran

I've just finished my first sporran. I haven very little experience doing this kind of thing, so be gentle

I tooled two trinity knots and a Fenian Claidaigh on the front flap, and used rabbit fur for the front.

Excellent work; I like all of the separate pockets inside.

Nice work! From the design on the leather to the choice of clasp to the lining and the pockets. Very well done, sir.

    Thanks!
It turned out a lot better than I expected it to.
I noticed before that I would always have to fish around inside my sporran to find coins or my keys, so I added smaller pockets to put these.
I could definitely become addicted to this, I'm already thinking of what I'd like to have in my next project!

Still have to make a belt for it. I'm up in Caithness for the week, so I'll do it when I'm back down and then put up pictures of the finished product

I made a sporran belt by using a small child's belt and a couple of dog choker chains and hardwear from hardwear store(D-rings and dog chain connecters) Where did you get the closure

Nice Sporran! Great tooling and a cool latch. Did you work from a pattern or freehand it?

    Nice work!

I got a few different images from google, and working from these I drew the pattern. I then just free handed it on.
